Zine-making workshop!

1:00 PM –2:30 PM
In this daily workshop, we’ll be making zines and printing them on a risograph (a giant stencil duplicator from 2008).
“What are zines??” you might be asking. Zines are homemade DIY magazines. Just like magazines, they can be about pretty much anything—you can make a zine about how to bake bread, or a zine with poems in it, or one a comic book, or a zine where you rank breakfast foods from best to worst...
Everyone will have the chance to print their zines on Somehow School’s in-house risograph, which has a limited color palate of black, kelly green, and cranberry. They’ll also be able to print zines in full color on our laser printer. Each student will recieve 15 copies of each zine they create.
