In this 10-week program, students ages 7–13 will write and publish four issues of The Strawberry, Somehow School’s official print newspaper.  No journalism experience required!

In this 10-week program, students ages 13–18 will write, design, print, and publish two issues of The Snail, Somehow School’s official print magazine. Any genre is fair game, from poetry  to fiction to comics to personality quizzes to investigative journalism. 

In this 10-week workshop, students are welcome to focus on writing projects of their choice. For anyone looking for inspiration, we’ve got plenty of writing prompts. For those who already know what they want to write, we’ve got time, space, and writing implements galore.

New this session: every student will have the opportunity to publish one of their writing projects. We’ll risograph-print it, bind it into a book, and give them a big batch of copies! 

Studio I + Newspaper combo*

*Due to overlapping interest, we’ve merged Studio I with a second section of our Newspaper program. Students will still get a studio-style class experience, but they’ll also have the option to publish their works in the newspaper.
