Print journalism isn’t dead! In this class, students will work together to produce a real, physical newspaper which we’ll distribute around Western Mass.

Each week, students will author news articles and op-eds about topics of their choice. They’ll also have the chance to make comics, write horoscopes, and predict the weather. We’ll look at selections from historical local newspapers for inspiration.

Newspaper is best for students who are confident reading and writing on their own. No journalism experience necessary.
